The small pure helpers over mizu.h's wire-format conventions, dual form like the zc accessors above (see the banner): the timeout unit conversion, the NA_real_ store (for a binding filling converted output without R headers), the aux packing of the pool RAWSPILL and SHM_VEC kinds and its decode pair, the flat MIZH header write/check, the MIZS / MIZL layout checks, the validity-section setter, and the NA sentinel <-> bitmap primitives (one NA-test implementation behind both bindings' validity paths, so two bindings' bitmaps cannot drift apart from the sentinels they describe). Detailed Description

The layout layouts themselves are mizu.h's MIZH / MIZS / MIZL documentation. The MIZS string block's four section offsets from a string count (mizu.h documents the block). data doubles as the size of everything before the string bytes.
